Grand Rounds

The Global PrAKI Grand Rounds connect midwives, obstetricians and nephrologists worldwide for virtual case-based learning. The aim is to shift maternal kidney care from late-stage emergency response to early prevention. Modelled on the successful ISN Paediatric Nephrology Grand Rounds, each 60-minute session is led by a regional clinical team presenting real cases, with open discussion and practical links to the PrAKI Toolkit.

Our first four sessions will be led by clinical teams from Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia and Sierra Leone — in that order. Exact dates coming soon.

What to expect:
• Real patient cases from frontline settings
• Open cross-specialty Q&A
• Practical application of the PrAKI Toolkit
• South-North learning: hearing from the clinicians with the greatest experience and expertise

Who should attend:
Obstetricians, nephrologists, midwives, nurses, anaesthetists, policy makers, researchers. Anyone working to improve outcomes for women with PrAKI.
